From "SWEET AND LOW" Returning to New York from Hollywood (where he had just scored the movie "Spring Is Here" for Warner Brothers), Billy Rose asked Harry if he would write a couple of songs for his Broadway revue, "Sweet And Low". "Cheerful Little Earful" was written with Ira Gershwin and was very succesful, but the most durable song from Sweet and Low is "Would You Like To Take A Walk".

Harry provided four songs, one written with Ira Gershwin, "In The Merry Month Of Maybe" which became a hit. But by far the smash hit of the musical was "I Found A Million Dollar Baby in a Five and Ten Cent Store" and Bing Crosby's recording helped it become a national favorite.
